  • Our Mission:

  • We pray that the Vietnamese Hope Baptist Church be blessed by God when presenting the Gospel to thousands of the Vietnamese in the Washington, D.C. area for their salvation in Christ Jesus.

  • We pray that the Vietnamese Hope Baptist Church bring comfort, peace, and joy to those who are painful, depressed, and frustrated, so that they may find help, guidance, encouragement, forgiveness, love and hope in Jesus Christ.

  • We pray that the Vietnamese Hope Baptist Church reach its goal of 500 people with an attitude as described in Philippians 2:5, “...this attitude in yourselves which is also in Christ Jesus...” as well, humbling themselves to serve as in Philippians 2:3, “do nothing from selfishness or empty conceit, but with humility of mind let each of you regard one another as more important than himself.”

  • We pray that the members will mature in their spiritual life through Bible studies, training classes, revivals, Sunday school, fellowship meals, worship services at church and at home.

  • We pray that the Vietnamese Hope Baptist Church will be a place where everyone studies together, shares joy and sadness, and assists each other in the spirit of mutual help offering labor, finances, and time among members to glorify God and to preserve His house.

  • We pray that the members reconcile family troubles between husbands and wives, parents and children, brothers and sisters, relatives or friends for the fulfillment of the Biblical teaching of 1John 4:12c, “if we love one another, God abides in us.”

  • We pray that the Vietnamese Hope Baptist Church teach God’s Word and the Vietnamese language so that our children can grow-up respecting and loving God, while honoring their parents, abiding society’s law, keeping harmony with the family, and preserving the Vietnamese traditional culture.

  • We pray that the Vietnamese Hope Baptist Church do evangelism in this country and support other Vietnamese churches with ministries in the beloved Vietnamese homeland.
